What wasn’t included in the newspaper’s summary of the Cascade Hills discussion

The Fall River County Herald covered the City Council’s vote on the Cascade Hills impact fee request to waive $96,000 water and sewer hookup fees. This 4+ minute video highlights another part of that same meeting that was not included in the newspaper’s coverage.

In this exchange, I asked whether the City has a formal policy for waiving impact fees, whether granting the request could set a precedent for future projects. You’ll also hear the responses from the mayor, council members, and city staff as they occurred during the public meeting.
